Match Report:

2 x Mosses contested the toss, the home team delighted to win it on an absolute belter of a track & fast outfield! Stoney's imposing 258/5 was built around two fine contrasting knocks 88 by Stewart Moss - full of timed drives thru the covers, and 93 by Jordan Newman - powerful lofted thumps straight or thru midwicket. Sadly both fell short of deserved centuries. For Kid, Josh Behal bowled a terrific spell of fast bowling on a flat track laced with superb yorkers!

The 2nd innings. With a weakened bowling attack - Stoney wondered if they had enough when Raz Dogar opened up with a typical flurry of early boundaries! But a fine Scott Thomas delivery found a way thru to his stumps, and Liam Hatton, with good pace & accuracy (2/33) gave control.
Despite a defiant 33 from Jake Townsend, Dave Skidmore's flight & guile (3/33), and U15 seamer Rowan Moss's probing line & length (3/25) saw the home team rattle through the order to consolidate top spot in Div 7N.

An enjoyable game on a superb ground, well umpired, with a fine tea!
