Match Report:

An incredibly close game, played in fantastic spirits by both sides as always with one of the Stanton openers being called back to the wicket by CNCC after an interesting decision was made by an umpire.

Sami the pick of the batsmen for CNCC with an unbeaten maiden half-century for the club, who kept the scoreboard ticking along nicely despite the wickets starting to tumble. John Woodward with fantastic figures as always with 3-26 from his 9 overs.

Veteran Martin Elliott and Wasim Hussain the pick of the bowlers for CNCC, taking big wickets at key times, particularly the dismissal of Simon Hadland who sadly fell just short of the half-century mark.

Good luck to the Stanton lads for the rest of the season!
