Match Report:

Great game played in good spirits, Shriv lost the toss and were invited to bat, amassing a good competitive score which was probably only about par on a fast scoring day. Manoj Perera smashing the second over of the day for 19 set shrivenham on their, way with great knocks up top from Steve Bowles and Scott Winskill set up the total, but regular wickets in last 10 overs kept it to 250. Charlbury then set about their task of chasing and some great batting and contributions from most of the top order allowed them to build good partnerships, it took a wonderball to get out sinton, but charlbury powered on, despite a great knock from Andy Glass Charlbury finished short as Shrivenham got their death bowling and fielding right making it hard to score. Wonderful game which could have gone either way. Good luck for the rest of the season to the charlbury lads!
